Upload a show. StationCue does the fiddly part. It finds the natural breaks, places your sponsor spots, PSAs and station IDs by your station’s rules, and lets volunteers clean it up on any phone. Then it hands you the files your playout system needs.
Good morning, you’re listening to the Saturday Morning Mix. [4 s cut] Coming up, the folk festival line-up and a chat with the Riverside Choir.
Break 1 · 2:00 Station ID · Sponsor: Prairie Coffee Co. · PSA: Food Bank
We’re back. Let’s talk festival tickets… [3.2 s dead air removed] They go on sale Friday at noon.

From the recording on a volunteer’s laptop to a file your station can air, without anyone opening an audio editor.
Drop in the recording, even a big two-hour file. Uploads pick up where they left off if the connection drops.
StationCue listens for the natural pauses, sentence ends and “we’ll be right back” moments, and lines them up with your station’s clock.
Sponsor spots, PSAs and station IDs go in by your rules: flight dates, how often, and keeping competitors apart.
Volunteers tidy up on any phone, a program director approves if you want that step, and you export for air.
Cut a cough, a false start or a caller’s phone number, trim the ends and add fades, right on the waveform. Every edit can be undone.
Every change is saved on the device instantly and synced to the station within seconds. A closed tab or a dead battery won’t cost anyone their work.
The heavy lifting happens on our side. The editor only loads the bit of the show you’re working on, and uses no battery while it sits idle.
Set ad limits per hour and per week, break times and separation rules. Presets get you started; your station decides.
A report of every spot that ran, per sponsor, ready to invoice from. Promised three mentions a week? You can show it.
Export one broadcast file with the breaks baked in, or show segments with a break log, for the playout system you already use.
StationCue gives your station the controls and the reports. Each station stays responsible for its own licence conditions and advertising limits.
Upload, fix mistakes, accept the breaks and hand in a finished show in minutes.
See what’s waiting, listen to just the changed bits, and approve for air.
A spot library with flight dates and rules, and a report per sponsor.
Invite volunteers, set the station’s rules and output format, and keep an eye on usage.
Privacy isn’t exciting, but it’s critical. Here’s how we look after your shows.
Your shows, edits and exports are stored and processed in Canadian data centres. Additional countries are coming.
Your audio is used only to produce your station’s shows. It is never sold, shared or used to train AI models.
Source recordings are removed 30 days after a show is ready for air, and exports after 14 days. Deleted something by mistake? It can be restored for 30 days.
Encrypted in transit and at rest. Volunteers sign in securely and see only what their station allows.
